Katy Scott, PT, DPT, cert. MDT

Katy earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Utah in 2011. Since graduation, Katy has worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient clinics but has spent the majority of her career working in small cash pay outpatient orthopedic settings in which she feels she can best utilize her skillset working one-on-one with patients and provide individualized care. She has obtained certification in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy® and also a registered Trigger Point dry needling practitioner through Kineticore.

Katy is passionate about helping her patients achieve and maintain musculoskeletal wellness and MDT provides the assessment and treatment process to do so. A typical session with Katy includes a thorough biomechanical assessment, development of an individualized treatment plan to address your specific needs, hands-on joint mobilization and soft tissue work, as well as education to empower you to take an active role in your healing process and understanding your body. She believes one-on-one care and a hands-on approach allows her to provide optimal patient care.
